What Ace Esports stores, why, and how to clear it.

What stays on your device

Your theme choice, stream settings (resolution, refresh rate, volume, mute, alerts) and the chat account handle you connect are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us and are removed when you clear your browser data or disconnect the account.

Disconnecting a chat account from the header menu removes the stored handle immediately.

What we collect

If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you type, and use them only to reply to you.

We keep anonymous usage counts — for example how many people opened a page — to understand which parts of the dashboard are useful. These counts contain no personal details.

If you are under 18, or you are a parent

We ask for a date of birth when you create an account. You must be at least 13 to have one. If you are 13 to 15, we email a parent or guardian and ask them to confirm. Until they do, your account stays limited: no payments, and no posting in the fan feed.

From 16 you can agree to this yourself. Payments are for adults only, so nothing can be bought on your account until you are 18, or unless a parent or guardian confirms your account.

We never show personalised or profiling-based advertising to anyone under 18. The sponsor slot on the dashboard is the same for everybody, is clearly labelled, and sets no tracking.

Predictions are a free guessing game. No money is involved, nothing can be won or lost, and no real-world outcome depends on how you vote.

Parents and guardians can withdraw consent at any time by getting in touch. We will limit the account again and delete what we no longer need.

Payments

Ad-free subscriptions and streamer gifts are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own secure checkout and never reach Ace. We receive only the payment status and a reference to the transaction.

Payments are only available to users aged 18 or over, or to a young person whose parent or guardian has confirmed their account.

Third parties

Stripe processes payments. Twitch and YouTube handle chat sign-in when you connect an account. These services apply their own privacy policies to the data they process.

Your choices

You can clear all locally stored preferences by resetting settings inside the stream settings panel, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.
