Some teams win tournaments. Others build legacies. LOUD just reminded everyone which category they belong to.

In Shanghai, the Brazilian organization defeated Team Vitality 3–1 to become the VALORANT Champions 2026 world champions. This wasn't just another trophy: it was LOUD's second Champions title, following their victory in 2022.

Vitality had a chance. LOUD had other plans.

Team Vitality reached the grand final after beating 100 Thieves 3–1 in the lower-bracket final. But finishing the job against LOUD was a different challenge. Just two days earlier, LOUD had already beaten Vitality 2–1 in the upper final.

The rematch offered Vitality a shot at redemption. LOUD answered by winning three of four maps: Summit 13–11, Sunset 13–5 and Haven 13–10. Vitality took Lotus 13–8, but couldn't turn the series around.

Why this win matters

Winning one world championship is difficult. Winning another four years later is a statement about the organization. Different seasons bring different opponents, strategies and expectations. LOUD have now done it twice.
